The Transnational Access (TA) activities of ERIES offer combined and integrated access to the largest collection of high-class experimental installations for earthquake, geotechnical and wind engineering in Europe and Canada. This includes reaction walls, shake tables, wind tunnels, a Doppler wind LiDAR system, in addition to facilities for integrated studies on geotechnical site effects.

Research Infrastructures
Below are tables listing the available Seismic and Geotechnical Infrastructures and Wind Infrastructures.
Links to their external webpages are provided but please consult the individual TA Installation pages on this website (e.g. ERIES/Transnational Access/TA1: Transnational Access to 9DLAB Shaking Table and MOBILAB) to see the type of access available as part of ERIES.
The total availability for each research infrastructure’s installation is listed in the table, which indicates the total number of user group projects each research infrastructure expects to host. The availability of each installation at each deadline (or call) is indicated in the relevant tables. This essentially indicates how many user group projects will be awarded by the TA-SEP at each evaluation deadline. Please consult the documentation on the Evaluation of Proposals page to see how these will be assigned. In the event of all available access not being assigned at the first few deadlines, this table will be updated and further access will be made available via additional deadlines (i.e. a 5th) until all available resources have been utilised.
