To apply for TA as part of ERIES, each UG leader must submit their proposal following the provided template. Applications are made online through a Google Form for which a Google account is required. Instructions on how to complete the application are included in the template documents. Please follow these instructions carefully, deleting any explanatory text and ensuring that page limits and other requirements are respected. Applications that do not respect these will not be considered for evaluation. A presentation with a concise description of the proposal and sketches with rough dimensions and proposed scale of envisaged specimens must be attached (free template, max 5 slides).

Calls for proposals will be opened on 1st June 2022 and will be left permanently open for the duration of the project until the available TA budget has been allocated. While applications may be submitted at any time, they will be collected and evaluated by the TA-SEP at four cut-off dates. These are:
- 30th September 2022
- 8th January 2023
- 7th June 2023
- 3rd November 2023
During the evaluation, the TA-SEP may contact the UG, request minor changes and make minor suggestions to ensure compatibility with the proposal and the ERIES available budget, time and research infrastructure capabilities. Successful proposals will be granted access to the research infrastructures and the UG will begin its collaboration with the relevant research infrastructure.
Before submission, each UG leader is strongly encouraged to directly contact the reference contact available on each TA installation page. This is to preliminary discuss the main technical and scientific aspects of the proposed user project and its feasibility with respect to the installation and within the ERIES project.
