ERIES is designed to offer Transnational Access (TA) to leading Research Infrastructures (RIs) for curiosity-driven research. It aims to create an open-access database of experimental results, including both data and metadata from structural tests, using cloud technologies. The system architecture will also undergo improvements to ensure alignment with FAIR principles, promoting openness, interoperability, and outreach. This will involve migrating to a cloud-based technology for individual database nodes, enabling the uploading of data from collaborative earthquake-wind engineering projects or distributed seismic testing.
